recipe below is the first thing I did when I got the crock pot for Christmas two years ago. This stew recipe is 6 quart slow cooker. Depending on the size of the slow cooker, the number of ingredients varies.
INGREDIENTS 1 pound stew meat
1 package stew seasoning
3 pkg brown gravy mix
a regular size package of mixed vegatables
3 beef bullion cubes 1 teaspoon
Worchestire sauce 8 cups water 1 tablespoon
flour 1 tablespoon butter
3 medium potatoes
Cooking oil Cornstarch *
onion and garlic powder to taste * TECHNOLOGY Step one: Coat skillet lightly with cooking oil. (You can also use a cooking spray fewer calories.) Add 1 pound stew meat in a saucepan. Cook until brown. Meat does not always have to cook .* To save time, you can brown the stew meat in advance. After browning, place the freezer. It keeps the meat fresh for a few months.
